Great Times at Trinity Guys' Night

Holy Trinity's first annual Guys' Night was a roaring success! With over 60 students attending, everyone was entertained and had an awesome evening with friends. The night was sponsored by Microsoft, and had special guests including Sid Sexeiro of Sportsnet, as well as one of the country's finest magicians, Coby Elimelech.

The evening started at 5pm, when teachers welcomed the guys into the theatre where they received complimentary t-shirts with the phrase "#HTSTRONG" printed on the back. The group was split into three teams before participating in the main activities set up for the evening. Everyone in attendance also received coupons for Panago Pizza and Sports Cuts (who were also providing free massages during the evening). All of these great add-ons were included in the $5 ticket price.
Stations included; the dinner station, complete with barbequed burgers and hot dogs, subs from  Quizno's, and sports highlight packs playing on a projector; the gaming station, provided by Microsoft, who brought ten Xbox One systems with all of the latest games and handed out awesome swag; and finally the video station, where the guys watched some of E60's best sports documentaries. The evening got even better after the rotation finished and everyone gathered in the theatre.

Sid Sexeiro, host of Tim & Sid on Sportsnet 590 The FAN, was introduced. Broadcasting teacher Mr. Joseph has the pleasure of interviewing Sid on stage. Opening with his trademark verbal assault of Toronto Maple Leaf defencemen, Sid got the crowd going.

After answering questions from Mr. Joseph, he proceeded to interview the guys in the audience- including members of the Senior Football team and wishing them luck for the Halton Finals the following day. Following Sid Sexeiro's entertaining presentation, the crowd was greeted by Coby the Magician. He captivated the audience as he called up volunteers and left them dumbfounded at his illusions. One particular highlight was his ability to pull a card out of a drawing! Special thanks go to Mr. Sexeiro for his preparation and organization in making this an event to certainly look forward to next year at HT. An amazing time was had by all, and everyone is looking forward to a bigger and better night next year at Trinity's second annual Guys' Night!
